15:00 — Atlanta begins the second quarter with the ball on its own 26.

12:59 — Chase Blackburn breaks up a pass intended for TE Tony Gonzalez on third-and-4, forcing Atlanta to punt. The Giants take over on their own 20.

12:18 — Safety Thomas DeCoud intercepts Manning and the Falcons take over on the Giants’ 27.

10:22 — FIELD GOAL FALCONS. Matt Bryant makes a 38-yarder. ATLANTA 17, NEW YORK 0 (Drive: 4 plays, 8 yards in 1:46)

10:17 — Newly signed running back Kregg Lumpkin takes his first handoff the year for nine yards. He follows up with another one for eight yards and a fresh set of downs before tearing off a 22-yarder.

6:08 — David Wilson is stopped for no gain on fourth-and-1. Falcons take over on downs.

5:28 — Chris Canty gets the first sack of the day for the Giants, a loss of five.

2:52 — Back-to-back completions to Hakeem Nicks and Domenik Hixon for 24 and 37 yards, respectively, bring the Giants inside the 20.
