Fantasy 101 brings you the latest fantasy football news from around the league.
Terrance Williams WR Cowboys
Last week: 4 REC, 151 YDS, TD
Williams has been balling these past two weeks. Combining for 222 yards and 11 receptions in the past two games, Williams is showing why he was one of the most talked about rookie wide-outs in 2013. The Cowboys have shown that their passing game is no joke, gaining more than 500 yards vs. Denver through the air alone. He’s a worthy receiver to keep on your roster for a few weeks and a good guy to have for a fill-in spot for now.
Nick Foles QB Eagles
Last week: 197 YDS, 2 TDS
With Michael Vick likely out for the next few weeks, Nick Foles will fill in as the Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback. Foles looked impressive coming off the bench in Week 5 (16 of 25, for 197 yards, 2 touchdowns), and with the 0-4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers next on his schedule (whom he beat last year in Tampa Bay), only betters his situation to succeed.
Donald Brown RB Colts
Last week: 40 TOT YDS, TD
Brown scored his first touchdown of the year this past weekend vs. the Seattle Seahawks. With Ahmad Bradshaw out with injury, Brown is playing well enough to get the opportunity to make plays for the Indianapolis Colts, recording three carries for 65 yards in Week 4 and six carries for 37 yards and a touchdown in Week 5. With production on the rise, it’s time to take the chance.
Lance Hendricks TE Rams
Last week: 4 REC, 37 YDS, TD
Hendricks has now gone two straight weeks with scoring a touchdown. Although the St. Louis Rams added starting tight end Jared Cook, Hendricks has been the one scoring all the touchdowns in the red-zone as of late. I’m not saying start him right away over the top guys, but he’s a good sleeper to have on your roster at the very least.
