GIANTS WEEK 3 FANTASY RESULTS
All but David Wilson and the Giants defense saw a decrease in production from Week 2 to Week 3 as the Giants fell, 38-0, to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday in Charlotte.
Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and kicker Josh Brown each finished without points, the first time a Giant has done so this season, and wide receiver Victor Cruz, the league’s top-scoring wide receiver two weeks ago, finished with 2.5 points (No. 104 among receivers).
With Ruben Randle’s four, the Giants top three receivers combined for just 7 points.
So it should come as no surprise the quarterback Eli Manning also fell, dropping four spots to No. 31. Manning scored 4.16 points, a season-low, after earning 10 or more points in Weeks 1 and 2.
In addition to Manning, Cruz, Nicks, Brown, running back Da’Rel Scott and tight end Brandon Myers all had season-lows against the Panthers.
The Giants defense moved up from No. 32 to No. 29 while David Wilson scored a season-high 3.9 points. Wilson had entered Week 3 with -0.4 combined points in his first two weeks.

TWEET OF THE DAY
Tough times don't last, tough people do—
Justin Trattou (@Justin_Trattou) September 24, 2013
“We dug ourselves a nice little hole but it’s not too late. If this is our little bad streak and then we’re solid through the rest of the season, October and November, I mean, November has been our slump. We get that out of the way now and play hard and physical and don’t let down, then we can still have a good, productive playoff season. We have made it harder for ourselves, definitely, so we need to be sharp and we need to be perfect.” -LB Mark Herzlich
