I have to say Jake Samson is on the right track, I wouldn't get rid of Deihl right off but I understand his reason. Blackburn never quits, plays with heart and is always around the ball. Cornerback must be upgraded, if we couldn't get a pass rush, we got burnt pure and simple! They never made a play when they needed one. Wilson is a stud back there, I believe he lead the Giants with pics last season, but please lets address Corey Websters ineptness, lets try and get a big athletic corner back there. Lets stay ahead of the game with our O-line try to get some youth mixed in with our vets and strengthen our linebackers.

The only thing the NY football Giants need is to be more consistant about not being inconsistant and that comes with staying healthy and injury free throughout the off-season and remain very well conditioned through the pre-season and regular season. When we are healthy and playing smart and no key injuries it really doesnt matter who the other team is we are better. Our best is better than any other teams best, 2 SB Championships in 5 years and if things go right it will be 3 SB Championships in 6 years and it will be celebrated at OUR HOUSE!!!

I agree with LWayneJ it is time to get rid of the OC Kevin Gilbright. He can not adjust, the teams game plan, If plays do not work. We get rid of players whose time is up, let have the OC move on. tks

It's easy to understand. Just look at the numbers. It makes sense that your chance of winning is higher against weaker opponents and the data bears that out. If that were not true odds makers would be in a lot of trouble. Their livelihood depends precisely on calculating those chances correctly. The Giants are NOT an exception to this fact.

It goes without saying that you have to play hard every week. Give it your all. That is not the issue.

It's pretty evident that the Giants address need in free agency and best player available in the draft. It's worked well during the Reese era and should continue.
Having said that, we haven't had a premier linebacker for awhile. It would be nice if we could get one to stop those completions over the middle and to the tight ends. Second, they really need a presence in the middle of the D line. They hardly ever get a push up the middle and their interior lineman can be blocked one on one. They need a guy that it takes 2 O lineman to block.

I really do not understand what diffrence it makes if we have the toughest schedule on paper or the weakest. This is the NFL and you need to play your best football every week or you will get beat. The Giants need to focus each week on the team they are playing and prepare for that team as if it is a playoff game. This idea that they can turn "it" on when they need to is a joke and it results in the kind of season that we ended up with.

Personally, I feel that the replacement should have been made at OC. The following questions will reveal why: 1. How is that we go from a 3 game lead in the division in week 8 to finishing the season at 9 - 7? 2. How is it with, not only the division lead on the line, but also making the playoffs in the balance; between weeks 15 (against the Falcons) and 16 (against Baltimore) we don't score more than 14 points (none in Atlanta)? 3. Even with injuries to Nicks, Brown, and Bradshaw; you still have a healthy Cruz, Hixon, and Randall: not to mention on the bench Barden, Jernigan, and Da'rel Scott (all of which is good enought o make the team every year, but not good enough to be given playing time?). All of this tells me that we do not have someone who knows how to develop and trust the talent that has been provided. In which case, it's not the roster that is the problem, but the person in charge of calling the plays.
