Should be number 1! Shutting down an undefeated team, and as Steve Sabol once said, ‘The greatest play in NFL history.’, not just SB history, NFL history period. ANd holding that team to 14 points?? The Patsies had been dropping 30 and 40 burgers on their opponents like it was their job. Listen, number 2 isn’t a bad place to be in, unless you should be at number 1.

XLII was certainly one of the historic, best played Superbowl but why is XLVI only number 16 when the criteria is exciting? The lead changes in the 4 th quarter. The last play of the game decides it in the end zone. Granted the game turned more on plays not made rather than plays made but they can be exciting.

Super Bowl XLII was by far the best ever. Proud to say I was in the house to witness it. Mike Strahan and the d-line put a hurtin’ on Tom Brady.

To my grave. Super Bowl XLII was the game that brings tears to my eyes when i think of that David Tyree catch. I was recuperating from a staph infection while i was watching the game and my only regret was i was in no shape to jump and get excited after the win.

i’v bin watching SB’s for 30 years and I thought SB XLII was the best ever. I may be a little bias being a diehard Giants fan, but the defence put a beating on Brady, I loved seening the fear in his eyes every time he came up to the line, not knowing where they were gunna come from. Greatest SB ever in my opinion.

One of the best plays, maybe the best play in super bowl history. Eli Manning escaping from a sure fire sack and finding tyree in the middle of the field who catches the ball using his helmet! The most intense, exciting, & incredible moments in all of football!!!! Go big blue!!!!!!!

That 17-14 NY Giants victory over NE Patriots was greatest victory in history of the franchise.Ever if the NY Giants continues winning Super Bowls,that SB XLII was historic,NE Patriots was playinf for NFL history.NY Giants was only NFL team to defeat 18-1 NE Patriots with relentless pash rush on Tom Brady.

Overall a pretty fine job. Of course as good as XIII was Staubach came up short. Eli has been clutch 2X and his 4th quarter drives rival Montana’s against the Bengals as the best ever. His Houdini escape and Tyree’s helmet catch remain the single best play in the history of the Super Bowl.
