If only the Giants can solve and stop the “talent drain” in the final few months at the end of the season…they are beginning to act like the Orioles/Redsox in baseball; fast start and then decline at the end!

Personally, I cannot say precisely what is “wrong” with the Giants and thier terrible inconsistency. However, something deffinately is wrong. I trust the coaches and the GM to pinpoint the deficiencies, address them and by intelligent action, redress them. Looking forward with eager anticipation to the nuanced changes and the development of some sort of athletic and mental consistency; no more excuses such as: well, we came back last year!,

Gilbride puts too much on Eli by passing on 1st down all the time. Need balance and establish running game. The one D with worst secondary skins we do all ball control.

I think a lot of this year was the d-line the pressure wasn’t getting there and it was leaving the corners out to dry. plenty of talent now lets have some nice draft picks on defense. people think im crazy but we need a new pass rusher

The 6 of 9 second half seasons with a sub 500 record is a valid sample. Mytheory is its because of the athletic players with upside they covet rather than strength-stamina players. We need more football players and less (not zero but a reduction) athletes. I want hard nose players that smash-stop the run-don’t wear down.
