1ST QTR: Giants defense holds the line

11:45 — The Giants attempt to go for it on fourth-and-inches but are called for a false start penalty. Punter Steve Weatherford came on and pinned the Redskins back at their own five-yard line.
10:04 — Washington opens up with three straight run plays to running back Alfred Morris.
4:55 — A 35-yard touchdown from Robert Griffin III to Morgan is nullified by an illegal shift penalty on Fred Davis.
