Following the Giants’ victory over the Redskins, it’s time to vote for the Subway “Extra Effort” Player of the Game. Here are the nominees and their performances:

4TH QTR: Giants make their comeback

13:01 — TOUCHDOWN GIANTS. Ahmad Bradshaw rushes for a one-yard score. The Replay Assistant challenged the runner broke the plane ruling, and the play was Upheld. GIANTS 20, REDSKINS 13 (Drive: 7 plays, 35 yards in 3:47)
11:57 — Jason Pierre-Paul energizes the home crowd by sacking Robert Griffin III for a loss of 12 yards.
10:12 — The Redskins go for it on fourth-and-2 at the Giants’ 49 and Robert Griffin completes a pass to Leonard Hankerson for nine yards, picking up the first down.
8:57 — Osi Umenyiora joins Tuck and Pierre-Paul and notches his own sack of Griffin for a loss of six yards.
7:18 — Pierre-Paul sacks Griffin again and forces a fumble. Linval Joseph recovers and the Giants take over on their on 29.
7:10 — On the next play, Eli Manning throws an interception intended for Hakeem Nicks.
5:28 — FIELD GOAL REDSKINS. Forbath makes a 45-yard attempt. GIANTS 20, REDSKINS 16
1:38 — TOUCHDOWN REDSKINS. Robert Griffin III completes a 30-yard pass to Santana Moss in end zone. XP is GOOD. REDSKINS 23, GIANTS 20 (Drive: 7 plays, 77 yards in 1:27)

3RD QTR: Turnovers define scoreless quarter

15:00 — The Giants kickoff to begin the second half.
13:44 — Converting four of six third downs in the first half, Washington is forced to punt on their opening drive of the third quarter.
8:04 — Michael Boley recovers Alfred Morris’ fumble and the Giants take over on their own 41. Linval Joseph is credited with the forced fumble.
5:15 — Eli Manning’s pass intended for Martellus Bennett is INTERCEPTED. Redskins take over on their own 16.
1:42 — Back-to-back-to-back turnovers for the Redskins and Giants as Stevie Brown intercepts Robert Griffin, returning it 41 yards to Washington’s 35.

14:52 — Ahmad Bradshaw picks up the first down with a 10-yard run-and-catch that was nearly stopped at the line of scrimmage.
12:46 — TOUCHDOWN GIANTS. Back from a concussion that held him out of last week’s game, Andre Brown powers in for a one-yard touchdown set up by Hakeem Nicks’ seven-yard catch that gave the Giants a first-and-goal at the one-yard line. XP is GOOD. GIANTS 7, REDSKINS 3 (Drive: 12 plays, 80 yards in 4:32)
12:00 — Linval Joseph suffers a knee sprain. His return is probable.
8:52 — TOUCHDOWN REDSKINS. Santana Moss catches a short pass from Griffin III and takes it 26 yards into the end zone. XP is GOOD. REDSKINS 10, GIANTS 7 (Drive 8 plays, 80 yards in 3:56)

1ST QTR: Giants defense holds the line

The two teams have met twice in the postseason, with the series tied, 1-1. In 2011, the Redskins swept the season series for the first time since 1999, winning 28-14 in Week 1 and 23-10 in Week 15. Prior to the 2011 season, the Giants had won nine of the previous 10 meetings.
