Week 4 Fantasy Football Grades
Posted by on October 2, 2012 – 12:00 pmThe views expressed in this article are not of the New York Football Giants but those of an independent Fantasy Expert.
Starters
Last week: 4 catches, 62 yards, 2 Touchdowns
Chandler had a monster game vs. New England Patriots, scoring twice on passes from respectively twenty-four and twenty yards out. He lead all tight ends in scoring and is tied (H.Miller and V.Davis) for the league in touchdown passes for tight ends with four. Some other players you may have heard of with less scores than Chandler, Rob Gronkowski (3), Jimmy Graham (3), Witten (1) and Antonio Gates (0).
Arrow: Up
Mikel Leshoure, RB, Lions
Last week: 13 carries, 26 yards; 4 catches, 37 yards
Leshoure did not have the best of his young fantasy days this past week vs. Minnesota Vikings defense that ranks 7th in the league against the run. Leading up till the weekend hit, Leshoure appeared as if he was going to play well, after a stellar break out game last week (26 carries, 100 yards, TD). Once the weekend hit, his status was of major concern. He did make up for his sub par performance by hauling in four grabs for thirty-seven yards. With Leshoure barely being able to move out there, a much needed bye week is upcoming for a banged up (1-3) Detroit Lions team.
Arrow: Neutral
Tashard Choice, RB, Bills
Last week: 2 carries, 14 yards, 1 catch
Choice didn’t get the opportunity to start, that was thought he would get earlier in the week. Bills starting running backs Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller made miraculous comebacks to start the game, from what was once anticipated to be more severe injuries, leading them to sit out at least another week or two. Now that both Spiller and Jackson are back healthy, Choice seems to be irrelevant yet once again in his short lived career in the realm that is fantasy football.
Arrow: Neutral
