Four Weekly Programs Will Bring Fans the Best of Big Blue All Season Long
MSG, the official regional sports network of the New York Giants, kicks off its 2012 regular season coverage of Giants football with a special night of programming tomorrow before the Super Bowl Champions face the Dallas Cowboys in the first NFL game of the season.
Tomorrow at 4:30 p.m., the season premiere of “Giants Chronicles” features two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning as he reviews the 2011 season and the team’s second Super Bowl win in five years. At 5:00 p.m., MSG is live from MetLife Stadium for 90 minutes of “Giants Opening Drive Live” as hosts Bob Papa, Carl Banks, and Harry Carson with reports by Paul Dottino and Anita Marks preview the Giants-Cowboys showdown.
Throughout the regular season MSG’s Giants coverage is comprised of four weekly shows: all-new episodes of “Giants Chronicles” at 9:30 a.m. followed by the new 90-minute “Giants Opening Drive Live” at 10 a.m. every Sunday (unless the team plays on another day of the week, in which case the two programs would precede the game); “Giants Rewind,” a half-hour review of the previous week’s game every Wednesday night at 10:30 p.m. on MSG+; and “Giants Press Conference Live,” a half-hour program including Coach Tom Coughlin’s live press conference, player interviews and fan call-ins, every Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.
