Daily Blitz: Deion Sanders believes in Eli during DirecTV bloopers
Posted by on August 22, 2012 – 9:00 amDeion Sanders believes in Eli Manning…even when they’re wearing white fairy tale uniforms.
Teaming up for another series of commercials for NFL Sunday Ticket, the former Dallas Cowboy and reigning Super Bowl MVP cracked a joke about it in a blooper reel recently released by DirecTV.
“I thought you believed,” a miniature Eli said candidly while being digitally placed on a table.
A laughing Sanders turns to someone off-screen: “I had this thing, I always believed in Eli all year. And he won the darn Super Bowl. Please put that in there.”
The outtakes also welcomed a new addition to the group – Peyton Manning.
Peyton makes fun of Sanders’ ’90s clothing style in one scene, while another has Eli drawing an “ny” on a sleeping fan’s face. Eli, who hosted ‘Saturday Night Live’ in May, also spoke about the importance of communication to a bride-and-groom set of dolls in what appears to be a toy aisle.
“You know, communication is just so important,” he said. “You know that, you all are married. You just got to listen, you got to listen to what they say. If you listen, everything will be fine.”
